With over 35 International entries, ArchWert+NBBJ was shortlisted second with a vision is to create a vibrant, walkable mixed-use community for people to live, work, entertain & socialise, attracting the best and the brightest and encouraging engagement, collaboration and innovation.

Our masterplan focused on creating vibrancy through a plan that would attract good mix of retail; creating an excellent infrastructure and transportation system within the community; encouraging walkability and sense of arrival for the public transportation system, and creating nodes of interest, unique experience and place of distinctions with diversity, as a place of destination.

The Spine, a vital element of the masterplan acted as a connector and welcoming place to about 45,000 passengers every day. The masterplan defines maximum density along the spine capitalising on walkability and fast movement strategy with active frontage and open spaces through the development.

Our work focused on creating a masterplan with the implementation of infrastructure and establishing clear guidelines for the planning and regulation of the whole development over next 10 to 15 years, in order to achieve a good quality, sustainable, safe and attractive and desirable environment. By defining key components and set design standards for the architecture and environment; provides a level of certainty and confidence for Developers and Local Authority in the quality and character of the development.
